Greece Wins Second Bailout

Greece won their second bailout earlier today after European governments reached an agreement with private investors, along with dipping into the European Central Bank profits to shield the nation from default. Greece were awarded aid in the amount of 130 billion euros, taking the total sum received by debt-stricken nations (Greece, Portugal and Ireland) to 386 billion euros. The Greek government has also agreed to cut spending costs by 325 million euros, resulting in dispute and unrest amongst the nation’s population.
